dream lake (2022)
This piece is part of my National Park Series.
This grade 3 band transcription of “Lakes” from The Timberline Sonata was commissioned by the Estes Park Village Band to honor those they had lost recently.
It is a little over five minutes long, and evokes the mystery, tranquility, and solemnity of the many lakes at Rocky Mountain National Park.
It was premiered on August 3, 2022 in Estes Park, Colorado.
