In preparation for an NEA-funded orchestral commission from the Boulder Philharmonic, I spent two weeks in Rocky Mountain National Park exploring, gathering inspiration, and composing.
The resulting piece (titled "All the Songs that Nature Sings") will be performed both in Boulder, and in Washington D.C. as part of the Kennedy Center's SHIFT Festival of American Orchestras.
